Pastor Joy from about the age of twelve has been involved in ministry - teaching children, My first message was preached at the age of fourteen under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. My experiences include Preaching, Sunday School Teaching of all ages groups, Youth Ministry, Evangelism etc. Indeed I made my first missionary journey to Nairobi Kenya in 1983, I am keenly involved with community groups and Prison Fellowship, and chair the Milton Keynes Network of Churches. I have a background in Management, Finance, and Training. Most importantly I have been a Christian for most of my life and though tempted, tested and tried made a decision to serve the Lord and stuck with it. Nothing is impossible with God. I love the Lord!

I started in ministry, fully supported by my husband, Minister Michael in June 1993. In 1996 I commenced an Ordination Course with Midlands Bible College which lasted two years it was completed in 1998 and I was awarded a “Pass with Merit“. I was ordained on the 5th May 1998 by the College and received my license from the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches the ordination body of the college.

Charitable status in England and Wales was obtained in October 1999 and officially named as Grace Evangelistic Ministries (GEM) and knows as (trading name) Grace Christian Fellowship which was re-launched in January 2000.

On 16 May 2004 Pastor Joy Cowell was re-commissioned under the Bishopric of Bishop Donald Hayes (GIFT). We are proud to be members of the GIFT ministry.

 LOVE~ INTEGRITY~ FAMILY~ ENCOURAGEMENT  

These words describe the entire person of Pastor Robert Joseph Sweet. While each acronym describes his character, greater than that, he is a “Mighty man of Valor.” Just like Gideon, he is a shepherd whose work and belief is not the number of people in a church, but the number of thoroughly immersed believers who wholly submit to God’s will and authority.

Pastor Sweet has helped build other ministries such as Transforming Life Ministries, Arlington, Texas and New Day Empowerment Center, Wichita Falls, Texas.  Pastor Sweet was ordained and licensed in May 1997 and 2000, respectively.  July 8, 2007, marked the beginning of Robert Joseph Sweet’s pastoral call.  While preaching throughout the metroplex and his hometown, Pastor Sweet accepted the call to start a ministry, Life Inspirational Community Church from his home in south Fort Worth, Texas with 17 members.  After 4 months, the ministry now holds its worship services and bible studies at Dallas Park Elementary School in the Crowley Independent School District where the church has grown to 100 plus members.

Pastor Robert Joseph Sweet is happily and faithfully married to the Lady Patricia Gail Sweet and he is the proud father of five beautiful children—Latoya, JR, Jessica, Joshua and Candice.   God has truly blessed the L.I.F.E. Inspirational Community Church as being a beacon of light for the southwest Fort Worth area.  Please continue to pray for God’s direction and favor while L.I.F.E. grows to its potential through God’s blessing and favor.   

Pastor Robert & Patricia Sweet and the L.I.F.E. Inspirational Community Church Body officially became a part of the G.I.F.T. Ministries on 9 Jan, 2010.  We know that God will bless these two fellowships as they work together for the upbuilding of God’s Kingdom.
